Coworking spaces in Cebu are becoming more popular in recent years! There are some that are from the capital of the Philippines (ASPACE Cebu) and some that even started outside the country! Here’s one that I can recommend for people living near the Banilad-Talamban area: The Spot Coworking Space!
What is The Spot Coworking Space?
Like a similar coworking space in Cebu, The Spot Coworking Space is a place that’s open to all but I feel has a niche that they can serve very well. The niche I’m referring to is the student.
Why focus on students?
For one, The Spot is located in front of Gaisano Country Mall in Banilad. It also happens to be beside a university (University of Cebu – Banilad Campus, to be exact). Being near a school offers a tremendous advantage for them since there’s a market that isn’t really aware what a coworking space is. If they tap into that, then they can fill up the place faster!
What’s Different With The Spot Coworking Space?
The first thing I noticed in The Spot is how bright the place is! They have a lot of lights for a coworking space. It really does help when you have really great lighting in a coworking space. Another thing I noticed is their oh-so-beautiful LOUNGE
It also helps that water, coffee, and other drinks are readily accessible on both floors! There’s an ample amount of air conditioning units. For people who need to nap a bit, there’s a napping area on the 2nd floor! You can nap for up to 30 minutes there. The Wi-Fi is fast, of course.
