OPPO F11 Pro Launch in India on March 5!

As if we would be done with phones after MWC 2019, OPPO has something more in the form of the OPPO F11 Pro launch! If OPPO’s India website is to be believed, then we’ll know everything about this phone on March 5!

What’s with This OPPO F11 Pro Launch?

OPPO F11 Panoramic Arc Screen

Last year’s F9 was already great at what it does thanks to VOOC Flash Charge. So much so that I would recommend people to go buy it just for VOOC and the dual cameras. The OPPO F11 Pro plans to take the F Series to the next level by offering features that were previously found in their high-end phones! Here are the two standout OPPO F11 Pro features you should know!

Panoramic Arc Screen!

If there’s one thing I wanted OPPO to get from the Find X, it’s THIS. Seeing OPPO adopt the full notch with the F7 and the waterdrop for the F9 was great. This was the logical next step. I’m so happy that OPPO is already going for it. Vivo might beat them to the punch first with the V15 Pro but I’m not surprised if OPPO comes out on top here.

If there’s one thing I want to see from the screen after the F11 Pro, it’s to ditch that small chin down there. I still can’t believe that only Apple has the balls (and money) to remove the chin! It’s about time others do the same!

Low Light Portraits with the 48MP + 5MP Dual Camera!

Dual Cameras

Yes yes. There’s that Rising Camera on the front of the F11 Pro. But that doesn’t interest me as much because Vivo did it first with the NEX series. What I’m more interested in is the dual camera setup on the rear!

For some reason, the Sony IMX586 sensor (with 48 megapixels!) is going around more phones already! We first saw it in the Honor View 20 but is now making way into the OPPO F11 Pro! Paired with it is a 5MP depth sensor for better portrait photos. Thanks to that combo, we could see better portrait photos in low light!

OPPO F11 Pro Design and Camera

At any rate, we don’t have to wait too long for the OPPO F11 Pro launch in India. What do you think? Should OPPO promote the heck out of this over their flagship phones? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below!

I’ll be out of Cebu until the end of March!
