5 Reasons to Choose Power Mac Center!

Jullian Robin Sibi 3

Around four years ago, Power Mac Center opened their first-ever service center in Cebu.  Ever since that happened, I wanted them to have their own store already! I waited for this event for a long time! NOW, they finally did it.

Last Friday, September 29, 2017, Power Mac Center opened their FIRST-EVER store in Cebu!

You can find their store at Level 1 of Robinsons Galleria Cebu! Only selected VIPs got an invite to this. I’m really grateful to be one of them. I just love how Power Mac Center knows Apple products and services. I actually have a great experience with them around two years ago with a broken iPhone 6. Despite having more broken iPhones, I still got a great experience! I waited for so long to buy Apple stuff from them since you have to place an order back then.

With that in mind, here are 5 reasons why YOU should choose Power Mac Center:

23-Year Apple Experience

No, that is NOT a typo. This is a company that has a partnership with Apple SINCE 1994. I was still 2 years old at that time! Thanks to that partnership though, Power Mac Center has built its reputation really well. This is thanks to the long experience they have. Other Apple resellers got their start as the iPod got more and more popular. Unlike them, this store started when Apple was just the Mac company.

Longer Installments on Apple Products!

Most Apple resellers usually offer iOS devices in credit card installment plans for 6 months (12 months for Macs). Power Mac Center (and a few other resellers) also offers installment plans but for 12 or 24 months! This is great, especially for parents who buy iPads or Macs for their children. There are even promos that let you avail these at 0% interest! I actually got my MacBook Air from them using their installment plan, so I’m sure you can too!

Complete Apple Accessories!

Have you ever tried experiencing a broken iPhone cable? I sure have. Sometimes even more than I should! Hehe. In the past, I waited for so long to get special kinds of Apple accessories because resellers here in Cebu didn’t have stock. Good thing Power Mac Center is there because they really have the complete lineup of Apple accessories! Sure there are still limits to how many they can keep in stock (like those elusive AirPods). Despite that, I believe in their claim to always have more Apple accessories available than any other reseller in the Philippines. They even have the iPod shuffle USB cable with the headphone plug in the other end! (It’s for an iPod shuffle that was small enough for just a headphone jack.)

Best Customer Service Experience!

YES. I said it. Power Mac Center is THE BEST when it comes to the customer service experience. They can handle a simple device check or weird issues such as screen misalignment. They really helped me get through the broken iPhones.

The photo you see up there is the 4th Service Report document I got after getting the last replacement iPhone 6. I really don’t like it when the replacement phone breaks right away. Good thing they handle it with ease. I am forever grateful on how they handle things like this.

Teach the Ways of Apple, They Do.

Some resellers actually offer 1-on-1 tutorials when you purchase an Apple product. They teach you the basics of the product and help you in whatever your needs are. With Power Mac Center, you can get that tutorial and even learn basic and advanced lessons on Apple-related technologies! Whether it’s for yourself or for the company you work with, they make sure you learn the necessary skills so that you too can teach people! There are even Apple Certifications for certain technologies! Learn more about their courses HERE!

Congratulations to Power Mac Center for their FIRST store in Cebu! You can visit it at Level 1 of Robinsons Galleria Cebu! Their service center is at the Mercedes Benz Tower in Cebu Business Park (in front of The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu). Check out their latest promos on social media (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter)!

Thank you so much for the invite and congrats again!

  1. The first Apple products we bought were a couple of iPads and a MacBook Pro, that was back in 2011 in Hong Kong. It started our years of “love affair” the fruit company.

Since then, the only way to purchase Apple computers was through Power Mac. There were others, but they were not as prominent then. So, now we have iStudio, Beyond the Box, and a few others. But to date, they have remained the closest thing one can get to a real Apple Store. Hence, I can understand where the excitement is coming from as well as the anticipation of more things to come.

One thing I am not so sure about is the credit card installment plan. On a personal level, it is better to save the money and buy cash rather than going on credit. It is something I am doing right now, and it will not be long before I have to decide between a 13-inch or 15-inch MBP. iStudio is offering around 6.5% discount if paying in cash. I did ask Power Mac, but they do not have the same offer.

At any rate, even if an establishment does not offer installment plans, customers can always call the bank directly and arrange for one.

    • I agree, but the newer MacBooks aren’t so easy to save up for anymore. They cost around P70-100K depending on the exact model and configuration. I would also rather wait for the credit cards to offer 24-month 0% installment plans for the Christmas season.

  2. I agree on your reasons above. When I had my first Apple, I also went to the MAC store. Because I know they sell only legit accessories and units. I also love their services and how they are so passionate about their brand. But then, every good service comes with a pricetag. I guess though their price is just to compensate for the service and brand.
